pefgirl just posted this today over at RRP when I said I couldn't tell who was who
kittenface-it is fairly easy to tell Sota from any other bird (missing two toes or partial toes on each foot) and easy to see on the live feed. The pair was just in the box a few minutes ago feeding.
So now there is another way to tell him from Jill

Upper Mississippi River Refuge: Falcon checking out nest box earlier this am :hapdance: Didn't stay long at all.

Only info that I have found out about this peregrine falcon pair is (from SUMRR website):

Peregrine Falcon Box was installed on 2/3/2012 on top of the Consolidated Grain Elevator in Savanna, IL. Nest box was placed there in February, 2010.
The Peregrines moved in immediately in 2010 and setup home. 4 chicks fledged in 2010 and 5 chicks fledged in 2011.
They should be coming back in early March.
