Very sad to see this. I watched two feedings today. One in the morning and it seemed parent was doing a good job feeding all for quite some time, then later in the afternoon it appeared that one chick didn't stand up as much to get to the food. Well it could have been full from a feeding that I didn't see.

Evanston got banded today
Thursday’s event marks the ninth consecutive year that baby peregrine falcons have been born atop the library.

The library holds a public vote on names for the falcons. This year’s winning female name, Marigold, came from a 6-year-old “for no other reason than it sounds nice,” library officials said.

The male was dubbed Gribley. That names comes from Sam Gribley, the boy character who befriends a falcon in the book, “My Side of the Mountain.”

And today the Evanston chicks are on the ledge! :egg14: Is this new, or have they been up there before the banding?
