Words just can't express how I feel when I found out what happened to NG.Please know that everyone will be in my prayers, and that the boys and Lil Dad will be okay.I must have just missed the feeding, but I did capture acouple of pictures. In the first one Lil Dad looks like he was just about to take off.

Then it looks like one of the boys was feeding himself :egg9:

Now I'm thinking it could be Lil Dad getting a few bites after he fed the boys :egg16:

I'VE BEEN RECORDING MOST OF THE DAY, BEEN UPLOADING SEGMENTS TO MY CHANNEL ON YOUTUBE IF ANYONE HAS THE DESIRE TO WATCH ANY OF THEM. SOME ARE REALLY LONG, BUT YOU CAN ALWAYS ZOOM THROUGH THEM TO THE EXCITING PARTS :-)

Called the Hilton right after I said I was going to, and then had to run a couple errands. Spoke with the manager on duty. Of course I had to explain the whole situation to her, and got terribly choked up first of all for the reason, and secondly thinking of that wonderfully nice man. She thanked me for the call and said that would get passed along to several places. Also said she was so sorry about NG. She does know about the falcons.

BOTH BOYS PASSED OUT RIGHT NOW FROM THAT GOOD MEAL. ONE ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE STICK AND ONE BY THE ORANGE POLE.

That was a nice thing to do, Jane. Those employees probably rarely get a compliment.

So glad you have been capturing video, Reenie! I had to be away all day so I will check through them later this evening. I will also scan through last evening and today's posts to note down feeding times. That looked like maybe a grackle at the last feeding. That's a pretty big bird for Lil Dad to bring in!

SusanE I had the same thought as you. While I always prefer that the fledges do not require rescue, if either of them comes to ground on my watch they are going to get a thorough checking over including a good peek at the inside of their mouths and a deep sniff of their breath.

Jane, I'm glad you called the Hilton. I sent a thank you card this morning. Also, thank you for putting out the call for volunteers, especially over the holiday. Out of about 20 prospective volunteers I contacted I have received two affirmative responses. Of course, I might get more responses after the weekend. We are going to need multiple feet on the ground when they go. I seriously doubt that either of these boys will remain to fledge by the time the official watch starts. Nancy, there is always someone needed to stay at Watch Ground Zero and keep track of who is where, so if you are available for that duty, bless you! If you PM me with your email address I will send you a form to indicate your times of availability on.

Looks like another feeding going on. Is it new prey or leftovers? Anyone know?

For the record, both boys are being fed at mid ledge and you can barely see their heads. I didn't see the prey, but if Lil Dad has it there in eiguoc's shot, I'd say it is new/fresh.

Can see the family feeding on the edge of the camera view. The boys are making that noise when they eat and scream at the same time. It's 2:40, Utah time.

One thing I forgot to mention about our search yesterday was that as we returned to the Carson Building down Aberdeen, I found a huge falcon pellet with tiny little oriole feathers in it. Did someone say they thought they saw Lil Dad cast a pellet the other day? It now safely resides in a ziploc bag with my other falcon memorabilia. At some point I will put together a shadowbox display and it will be part of it.
