Thanks for brining Kitty's report over Carly. My favorite line: " And he sticks the landing!" Just in time for the Olympics!! :)

Great morning pics Carly and Anca. He just can't get enough of the view now that he has discovered it.

Much cooler here today-lo 80's, cloudy and breezy so the heat is off for a while-thankfully. DC could be hunting somewhere or with Pigott but MAK has been DT since 6:50 AM and reports no sign of him at all. Poor B trying to do it all and Orion is hungry. :girlsad3: Maybe he'll show up for lunch like yesterday-hope so.

Thanks for the update Kris, I hope nothing has happened to DC..it's not like him to be gone that long even if he visited Piggot, he usually doesn't stay that long. It's cooled down here a bit too but still 33c with the humidex and our guys went down to the lake this morning to hunt and are out of site now.

Please let me know if they spot him, now I'll be worried. :girlsad3:

Will do. MAK just left her watch-Brian took over. Beauty took off-maybe hunting. Still no DC.

Patsy, who works DT, says she saw 2 Pefas flying around about an hour ago and Joyce is with Brian reporting that they can see Beauty way up in the clouds right now.

I've been running around the last few weeks and not had much time to watch. I've been following along with the posts here.

Not seeing DC today is getting me worried.

I just saw a tweet from Joyce "Adult under SE wing. Didn't see split wing, might be DC." . Wish if it was him, he'd come down and show himself and reassure us humans.

Joyce just tweeted "Agree with Camp. It's Beauty under wing."

Now, I'm officially worried.

No reports from BS today that I can see.

I too am catching up .. .reading all of this reminds me of the absent JJ at the James River Bridge nest. We never saw him.. until they came to get the kids. .and then JJ was the first one I saw in the box after the kids left. . Maybe DC is the same. . .apparently Beauty isn't very concerned about feeding if she has been spotted sitting under the wing .. Anyway, I am gonna try NOT to worry. . .yet. .

Pic from about 45 min ago after he woke up from his nap. .I don't know if he had found a tiny morsel or if he was picking at his toes. .

. . . and from a few minutes ago. .

Do not know where my post went but I will rewrite it

Little one may have had feed bright and early, or is cam running all the time.

It is not unusual to have only one or two feeds at this point of development. And if only one adult, Beauty can handle this.

Is no one monitoring out at Brighton.

I guess I posted on forum and Donna said it was 24 hours since youngster was fed. these adults knwo more than us and may be on alert.

the wee one does not look like it is starving, or calling out in hunger

He is pulling on something in box.

Well let us hope DC is around but not being seen. fingers are crossed

Edit

Sorry Carly, I sounded a bit nonchalant :girlluv: :girlluv: , I guess I have not followed as much and thought maybe he was just spending a bit more time at BS today. I am surprised no one is checking out there.

Yup, we all know how quickly things can change, especially me. but I also will remain positive.

I guess he found leftovers to nibble on. No positive sign of DC all day-just 2 Pefas visualized flying earlier. Tweets say Beauty took off flying towards Cornhill-probably hunting again. Carol P. is going on watch and probably will check BS for signs of DC.
