One is on the box ledge and the other just flew up and perched on the ledge to the left.

Thanks for all the wonderful pictures and coverage. Greg, we have been seeing the White Breasted Nuthatch in our Yard. So glad to have the ident., as I don't have that one in my book. That suet is really pulling different birds in.

Awesome catch, Terka. As I said before, I think I'd fall off the chair here if I caught a falcon when tuning into the cam.

I'll be thinking of you all over there in Wilmington and Delaware. Stay safe and hopefully the Falcons find a good place too to hide from Sandy.

Thanks for posting the nice pictures, Terka. CJ and Red Girl are back in the nest box right now but they haven't been moving much.

Thanks for the nice thoughts, DEF. I think the falcons will ride the storm out safely, but I don't know about the rest of us. I'm just hoping it won't be as bad or widespread as they're forecasting.

SGB, I am hoping the same thing. Although the wind direction has a lot to do with it. I'm praying for their safety and all wild life. Now they are saying upwards of 6" of rain and terrible winds, starting tonight into tomorrow. :halloweencat

Oh, thanks to several of you for posting the great pictures. Now I've heard that falcons like wind and all that, but with the forecast of what's to come I'm not sure they like wind that strong. Am praying for the safety of everyone before, during, and after Sandy's arrival.

They have places besides the box to hide from the rain. But if all we get is 50 mph gusts, that's called fun.

Yes, we still have power as the storm is almost a day away at this point.Right now we just have light rain, but darkish all day. So tomorrow, as I said on HBG, if we aren't on here, you know why! We are only two hours from HBG. Greg, I liked your humor! May they be safe and well. :halloweencat
