Many thanks to LeicaEagles/George and Kitten!!

New nest in Providence RI has a night light/streaming and a Falcon laying in the nest right now :hapdance:
OK just found that there are 3 eggs here, I'm trying to find out the parents but from what I have seen they might not be banded

Oh, great! Thanks for the separate topic, Barb and for letting us know, Beth! :thanku Actually, it looks like Beth set it up, so thank you, Beth! :valthumb: 5 eggs--wow! They're going to need some help with fledge watch if all 5 hatch! Mike & Bonnie, how far are you 2 from there? Since your sites don't have eggs yet, these younguns should fledge before yours! :teehee: Yeah, I'm good at figuring out what other people can do, huh? :valemb:

OK so heres what I've got so far
The male is 80/X B/G now the only thing I have found on that band number is from the Va. banding Data

Band Top Bottom Band Type State Sex Bander

B/G 80 X TYPE 9 MA M Contact Bander

5 eggs first was March 13th and one each day after
I have never in my life heard of that but the Audubon Society is the one that posted
the info to me so this will be a first for me anyway

How odd that they're saying an egg every day! :valscratch: Wonder if they're not sure when the eggs were laid & are guessing.

I commented on those egg-laying dates too, on their Facebook page. I believe it is just not possible . . . :hmmmm

First hatch today.
This is what I wrote on their FB page regarding the dates of egg-laying:
Quote:
I'm sorry but I find it very hard to believe that the first egg was produced on March 13. Normally there is a gap of 48 to 60 hours between them. Assuming that egg #5 came on Saturday March 17 it seems more likely to me that the first egg was delivered on or around March 9.

I think March 9 is not far off :egg9:
