Reenie, what a beautiful picture of NG. . and that is how I will choose to remember her.

Jane and Sue, thank you so much for all of your efforts today. I am sure that every time your rounded a corner or entered a new building you must have thought, "is this the one where we will find her. . " You all have done everything you could. It is so difficult to not have closure with something like this. It all just breaks my heart, not only for her loss, but for the loss to her boys and Lil' Dad.

I will have the cam up as much as I can this weekend. I pray the boys and Lil' Dad continue to thrive and remain healthy.

NG was such a goofy girl. We had a hard time a first, letting her into our hearts, but she taught us all that life must go on. She had some big talons to fill, for sure. She was young, but she had come a long way from a new mom last season to a bit more experienced this year. She was still a bit silly sometimes, but she was learning and she had the very best teacher in Lil Dad. We all know that Mom trained him, and she was the very best! Lil Dad will finish raising their little family and find himself another lady and together they will move on. We must now start to prepair ourselves to accept another lady, and give her our support. My heart still holds our special "Lady of the Ledge" and now NG.

Thanks to all for the reports and for the boots on the ground in the search. ? Could anyone at the site she came from search around those parts, perhaps? Just sayin'...

As I sit here, in a mist of tears, I am trying to think of words to say. I look at her picutre and I think of us waiting for her to lay her eggs this year. she kept us guessing, I could always tell it was her up there . she was regal.

There are no words, that can make sense here. But what I do know, is, she brought laughter , with her ways, when members here were dealing with moms disappearance. She jsut crept silently into our hearts.

I think of some words here:
Some people come into our lives
and leave footprints on our hearts
and we are never ever the same.

this is what I think of with NG.

I still hope in my heart, she can be found so there is closure, but she will live on through her boys. My mom said there is a reason for everything. I cannot think of one now, but maybe this is why only 2 eggs hatched and they were males. Dad could not have handled 2 girls.

God bless Sue and Jane for gong looking today and to all others who have looked. It is hard to do. You want to find her and yet your heart is torn.

WE will be with all of you every step of the way. Even If I cannot be right here most days, my heart is with you as you prepare for fledge .

Oh m gosh, I have had a crazy week and just found out about NG. I am so sorry to hear that she is not likely to have survived what ever may have happened to her. This is just heartbreaking. My thoughts and prayers are with all in Harrisburg. If any dad can raise the chick, it is our special Lil Dad.

LIL DAD WAS JUST BEHIND THE SCRAPE AND THEN HE GOT ON THE SHIELD AND THEN IN THE SCRAPE AND THEN BACK ON THE SHIELD. HE MUST HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR SCRAPS TO GIVE THEM BEFORE FLYING OFF DOWN MARKET ST TOWARDS THE RIVER TO GET SOME BREAKFAST.

Lil Dad fleww in aroun d 6:03, went behind the scrape came out took off Came back landed on the scrape, jumped into the scrape looked around came sat on the scrape looked at the boys and flew off, hopefully to get breakfast.

DOUBLE OR TRIPPLE, THE MORE EYES AND POSTS, THE BETTER :-)

I ONLY HAD ABOUT 4 HOURS SLEEP. I SET THE RECORDER AND NEED TO GO GET A LITTLE MORE REST BEFORE STARTING MY DAY. HOPE SOMEONE IS AROUND TO WATCH TO RECORD ALL THE FEEDINGS AND MAYBE MENTION IF THE PREY IS SMALL, MEDIUM OR LARGE AND IF LIL DAD FEEDS THEM OR JUST DROPS IT OFF.

LIL DAD ARRIVED ON THE POINT, DOESN'T LOOK LIKE HE HAS FOOD. HE LOOKING TOWARDS ABERDEEN, CHICKS ARE SCREAMING. OK, I REALLY HAVE TO GO FOR A BIT NOW. I USE A PROGRAM I BOUGHT CALLED REPLAY MEDIA CATCHER.

You know you've got it bad, when you are out with a bunch of friends, but your heart is in Harrisburg. I kept wishing I was at home and catching up on what was happening, if NG had been found, if Dad is doing ok, etc...... Hard maybe for some people to understand just how much you can love something that you've never touched or have never seen with your own eyes..... I have been so moved by the tributes I'm reading here for NG. Everyone of you has captured how I'm feeling. :tissue:
