one opinion is that the egg has been laid somewhere else due to the stress, but I am not so sure, as she comes back here at night.

I think wait and see. We learn more every year

the Reason, I am saying this is because at Genesse 2 years ago , when they were constantly attacked, she laid somewhere else but did not go back to nest box

I think , becasue there has been so much success here we tend to jump the gun, so to speak.

When S2 laid her first eggs she already had a half a season with Pa and raised 2 young ones.

this is probably this gals first time.

GerritE. was at the tower this morning and both Pa and 2OR were present. No third falcon spotted, all was calm. No sightings of a third one yesterday either.
The egg is kept warm and rolled every now and then by both parents. It is somewhat strange but who knows . . .
We have seen similar situations where we all thought one or two egg were lost for sure and then all hatched (Scout &Orville, Tasha/Dori, Eemsmond)

thanks DEF .
I thought it has been calmer. I have been talking about Scout over here also , so I think she is just biding her time.
And yes Gulf is a good example also.

It is always good to know that someone has been there and observed.

I think we have to be careful. sometimes when we cannot see what is going on we think the worst but I tend to be more on the other side.

you have to read back on the pages so you can see what is going on. Took the time last night to read up on them.

I will be in and out but keeping an eye when i can.

she has been incubating and
She keeps looking up so Pa may be up on roof.
she gets up and looks out, goes on platform and dives off

2OR cane in and was calling and then went out and flew off and then Pa came in and is on eggs

I have to go out for a few hours so I hope someone over there is watching

I can now tell them apart by Cere and call and of course size but when jsut one is there it can sometimes be hard

Bit of a stir, so I assume prey was brought in. Did'nt get the outside cam up in time. Pa takes care of the egg.

assuming it is 2Or In box, as I was out

So many conflicting reports here about an insistent male around the tower and then some say none present in last few days.

People critical of this girl. Say weak genes. How would they know. Just guesses
Once again, one cannot compare one with another. all things change and different scenarios.
Scout had a failed year and she was not a dudd

I have learned in the last few years that none of us has any control over these things and when mine come home , I have to be prepared.

I t will be what it will be, but i am rooting for this girl

Yeah BEv. I think I am growing

2OR has some light spots on the back of her head:

That can help with the ID.

Thank-you DEF. :valthumb:

I have not watched this too much this year until after first egg so I want to make sure I get it right

she is very beautiful

Just a few shots . She was in the first position until just a bit ago

She jsut moved a bit ago and is facing out

Food for thought. She must know and Pa must know there is another egg to come or she would be covering the eggs all the time. they are presently doing all they need to.

She is very aware of outside

she has been very aware of the outside. Usually she goes to the left side, I wonder where she went.

Well will leave cam up and see if she comes back
