Slechtvalk S2 update

Gemert, zondag 25 mrt 2012

In the video below you can see the entire residence of peregrine S2.
Because it is made completely closed around her, we can only shoot at feeding hatches and the entrance of the the residence.
Because of the nice weather today, the picture is overexposed, making it impossible for us to publish the film in color.

Thanks Coriena.
this is the thing. they are copulating and pa is bringing her prey. that was a bit one.

she is doing the right things when she goes in and so does Pa. they must know something we do not. Of course, they do. they do not want to start incubating this egg too much if other eggs are coming. they jsut want to keep rolling it , which they do and keep it just above freezing

Unknown male on platform and in the box. Band is Dutch: Orange/red Z over 5.
Right now Pa is back on the egg.
This afternoon it sure looked as if 2OR was going into labour. She was in the box for a long time, standing very quietly, re-arranging some pebbles, rolling the egg.
All signs indicate that more egs could come, big question for us is WHEN ? ? ? :vallaugh:

(EDIT: while typing Pa left again)

Pa is back on egg.

The "visiting" male, Z5, is most likely born in 2007. Read about the bands on the forum of Dorine and Piet:
From 2008 on, bands with two letters are in use.

EDIT:
Pa gone and now 2OR is back in the box.

I have a bunch of writing on my cam???

The writing is from the program/software for the day-and night vision switch. It also appears every now and then when they zoom in or out.

The people on that BDL forum and/or chat are not always well informed and many of them lack the knowledge we have gathered over the last 7 years of watching PeFa's and Eagles.

I kind of thought that DEF .  I would post 2OR in box and they had posted Pa. I would notice later they would change all their posts.

And some of comments made , I jsut shrugged, I have been watching this site with all of you since 2007and like you, have learned so much.

I tend to wait till you or Corinna post to confirm things. I thought I was a member of your site but it must have expired

Maybe tonight.
