As I was sitting and doing last minute things for our f ledge watch, I took the time to watch my backyard birds. How like the falcons they are.

The young bluejays are just a flapping and screaming to be fed, as are the young magpies. . The robins are digging worms etc, and calling and flying to their young that have fledged. We know most of their sounds now. we love sitting on our porch and watching and listening. And except for the cats , we do not worry, as they are in their natural surroundings. The young chickadees are so fun to listen to and watch. And even the baby sparrows are flapping and calling and chasing parents for food. this is when I am at peace. :girlyes: :girlyes:

this is what i want for our falcons. This is why I support Gord, when he hacks some . I would love to see them all out of the Urania areas. Oh, I know we would not be able to watch then on cams, but just think of going out to a river setting and seeing them flying free. That is my dream. When Peter and I see the hawks on their migratory route, we are ein awe of them.

so I am going to run and put up my posters at Weber and do some last minute things at Uni tomorrow. And we will do our best.
Weber is fledging same time as Uni. I cannot be in the same place at once but I will put things in place at Weber. I will get down there when I can to watch,.

It is going to warm the next week so it will either slow things down or speed them up. :girlhot:

Thanks for all the nice pictures . I have about 100 myself that I've never posted as he is pretty much fully covered and photographed by everybody.
It is hard not to keep snapping shots of him as the next expression or pose is always cuter than the last. He looks really healthy too.
