Radisson has been twisting and shuggling and all of a sudden out come two halves of egg shell. She hasn't gotten up yet, though, so no real evidence. :egg13:

Just got home and tuned in about 11:20 a.m. to see Radisson feeding the chicks.

Here she is leaving with the leftovers
Image

At the risk of sounding like an alarmist, the smallest chick appeared to have something still hanging out of its beak
Image

The male came in (seen here over the chicks/eggs) and was really checking out his chicks when Radisson returned. He didn't really want to leave  you could tell.

Image

Finally, she moved in, and he reluctantly left. He looked like he was about to cover the chicks, but Radisson returned so quickly. Here he is leaving, but looking back. :loveheart2:

Great news about the second chick! And it was so nice to see both parents so attentive to their new chicks.

R's lunch was HUGE !!! Duck ? Canada goose maybe ? lol

Bev don't wear yourself out staying up to watch the cam all night :girlsad3: We need you in tiptop shape for the fledge

thanks Susan for the photos. Good to see the feeds. will keep checking to make sure chick is O.k. And good to see male in

We jut drove past and saw male on outside where he is now.

WEber

On our way from our chore for the day, we stopped at Weber to see what was happening. We stayed till we saw a nest exchange. when we got there male was on tower south and across from Weber. we have noticed they are spending more time there. He seems to like to eat there.

the male flew off and soared around Weber and landed on aerial on Weber and then soared off again and went to back of WEb erand there was a big prey on C on back(west ),. could see some leftovers on the W also. when Peter went to scope him he flew off , back to tower. I hope we did not spook him(I will do a follow up report to this this evening)

Soon he flew off tower and soared around Weber and went up to roof ledge below box. Out came Miss Edmonton and she flew down to W on east side and then soared around and checked us out and went over to tower where food was I let her know who I was and waved at her :egg9: :egg9: . Male went in box.
that is where we left them

I am off again for about an hour and then should be home.

Please report anything you might see. :girlluv:

A feeding will likely come soon. Here they are playing tug of war; he won and took off with it, maybe to prepare it. It only took him 15 minutes from when he left the perch to returning with dinner.

He is slowly learning, but I think he gets his wires crossed sometimes

Radisson has been alone in the nestbox for the last half hour, so I am thinking that everyone has been fed and it is now nap time for the little ones.
