R still on chicks. can see them moving around.

I do not know if you noticed. I watched her shuggle in her scrape to make a deeper center. It is almost like a robins nest , type idea.

I wondered if this was to keep chicks and egg warmer if she had to go and hunt and the male did not incubate or brood. Just a thought. i have not seen her do this before

just before 8 M went o roof .
the he went into box and R left. M stood over chicks for a short time as R came back with food. M watched and talked to her and then he left. r fed kids and then she ate herself. She looked as if she was hungry.
she pulled a long string out of one of kids mouth. I saw kid at back go down with it in beak. and R noticed also , it appears.

I think our young man needs to spend less time on for4nt wrung and more out hunting. but he will learn. Will be watching carefully, if possible

Just trying to figure if white in front right was there before or egg shell.

got a text from Becky and she said at 5pm male incubated for quite a bit and then r came in to do feed. good boy. this is why she kept chasing him back in before eggs hatched. What a journey we are on.( going to miss you Becky)

male back on wrung, preening. Must have eaten and hope has some for R and chicks.

male goes to lip but it looked like R was eating something white, another hatch perhaps.

I would rather just 2 this year . she is really shuffling around and male goes back to wrung.

Radisson shielding the chicks from the sun after feeding. Cannnot see male, but I expect he is close by.

It is such a relief knowing that whatever that little chick had hanging from its beak yesterday has been resolved. That really worried me.

He entered the box, walked around a bit as they chatted with each other. Then he flew off.

A feeding going on right now, but I had to step away and missed its arrival. That's probably what the conversation was about earlier. The male ate a couple of bites from this image below, and I wish I'd tuned in earlier to see if he was feeding the chicks, too. Darn!
