Cams have been back for more than 15'!! So nobody knows if Pa showed up before dark or not.

When the cams were down one of the people on chat who lives in the area went to the nest. She saw an eagle standing on the back of the nest flapping its wings. She saw an eagle fly from the nest to the back trees. She is unsure if it was Ma taking a break or Pa being rejected for a 3rd time today. She reports she could not see with her scope d/t the rain.

Ma arrived @9:05 and with chick opening beak for food, she decides to feed with the fish brought in 2 days ago!!

It was a short feed and chick of course wants more, but @ 0935 seems to be settling down finally. You could hear very loud chirping off and on from under Ma after the feed. This chick has strong vocals!! I have been viewing from cam 1 and do not notice an increase of pip in egg, however when Ma is off chick there are times when I think I hear 2 chicks chirping. Am going to pull up DVR on cam 2 to see egg better. Hoping Pa can bring in more food this morning as chat is indicating more rains this afternoon.

dad brought in a piece of fish, mom fed bobble and ate rest. dad fooled with that big stick. a bit scary . but it worked. he is on egg and bobble and mom left.

I am on way out so you cam look back in DVR

Ferenz, I thought it may have gotten 3-4 bites, although not whole bites when I reviewed on cam 2. At 10:40 Pa returns with more food and Ma downed the remains of 1st fish, then fed B12. During this Pa returns and becomes entangled in stick on railing he was trying to trim or move. He even seems to squeal some with frustration! :2val:

In the end all is well. After Pa untangles he throws piece of stick over B12, then removes it and climbs on bole. :teehee:

Ma left surprisingly, but returns in short order and is trying to coax Pa off. I could not see pip on cam 2 for either feed, but could hear chirps from B13 in egg, I still think, even as B12 was swallowing food and unable to vocalize. It was quite the scene here with Pa's entanglement! I just can't tell ya!! :10val:

Dad would not budge....very windy and chilly...not good weather for the rest of the week, I'm afraid..

No more feeds, but Pa's been a hoot this afternoon! At 12:05 Ma brought in nesting and Pa leaves. Back @ 12:16 with more nesting and back again in a few with another branch that he messes with until finally @ about 12:30 ... walking backwards right up and over Ma's back ... so help me!! :10val:

She left eventually and Pa on duty since.!

While I was writing above post, I heard Ma come home. So, she came back @ 1:53 and Pa leaves. From cam 1, I saw B12's 1st PS on screen @1:54!! From cam 2, Ma jerks up flattened squirrel carcass from under some scattered nesting materials and feeds B12 for 3rd time today! I did not hear any chirps this time from the egg, but thought the pip was slightly bigger than the last time I had a good look (right now, I can't remember when that was, but looked @ this from both cams today). It's just not progressed @ the rate you would prefer to see over almost 2 days. But, still hopeful!! :16val:

Ma was feeding B12 more squirrel carcass for 4th feed today @ 4:40 in the rain! Cams have been blacking out @ short intervals since late afternoon.
