http://www.hancockwildlife.org/forum/vi ... 8&page=446 "Thanks MaryF for the Tuesday Ground Observations! I read this on NBC's news in Ft Myers from one of their local "eagle experts", but with all the different eagle behavior lately we shall see...P.S. Mark Westall is a professional naturalist that CROW goes to for any eagle related info and he conducts eagle seminars at CROW and is on the board of the Audubon Society...
"He just needs to survive right now, not thinking much about his territory," said local expert Mark Westall. Westall says people have to be patient as it could take months before we should be concerned about a reunion. "If he's going to come back, I would say that you would see him sometime in August," he said. "If we don't see Ozzie by the end of August, then there is a decent chance he will not come back to that site."
Mark Westall is to Florida eagle experts as David Hancock eagle expert is to us up here in Canada....both are eagle experts ....makes for great conversation to learn something new about eagles each and everyday....Thank You Vickie for being our eyes and ears through your most educational videos of the Ozzie and Harriett saga family of eagles we love to watch and read...it is a true learning experience."

(Added - When you think about it, August is right around the corner!)
