This is such wonderful news! E8 looks absolutely terrific. What a great job at CROW. I can't thank these people enough. They are true angels. Now that E8 is off the antibiotics, we'll see if the bone infection resurges or if it is truly eradicated for good. Talons crossed that he is cured. What a handsome bird he is. Thank you everyone for the updates and posts!

Another CROW update... posted approx. 3:18pm
Not much new:
E8 UPDATE: There are no major updates to report this week other than the eaglet continues to eat well and remains bright and alert. While in the large flight enclosure, E8 continues to improve flying skills through daily conditioning and live prey hunting will be introduced soon.

We will have a detailed update next week when E8 receives a complete physical exam and radiographs. If anything should change prior to the exam we will keep you informed.

Southwest Florida Eagle Cam



A new & very positive update on E8! :loveshow:

E8 UPDATE: E8 received an exam this morning and continues to improve and show great progress. The eaglets flying skills have become more coordinated and is using both feet to land and no longer favorites the right leg.

As part of E8’s rehabilitation, the eaglet will continue to receive daily conditioning and live prey training. Once E8 successfully completes the live prey training, a release will be scheduled.

We will provide another update early next week. Thanks again for the continued support.
