Harriet and M15 spent the night on the nest tree. Per nest notes, an owl was heard between midnight and 1:00, but not seen. Then at 1:45 AM, an unexpected guest arrived to the upper tree with only some vocals from M15 and Harriet. They all stayed on the tree in peace till 6:43 AM, when M15 decided it was time for their guest to move on. He got it out of the nest tree, but it flew to another nearby. M15 then chased it out of that tree. Harriet and M15 went on to bond and mate this morning!

Harriet and M15 are awake and on the nest tree to sleep tonight! They had a young visitor that volunteered to do a little nest work earlier today!

Harriet and M15 remained on the tree overnight with 1 exception. Per the nest notes at 5:21 am, a sound was heard from the pasture as in a bird flying off a branch. M15 flew immediately toward the pond alerting with Harriet on his heels alerting. They both returned immediately to the nest tree alerting. Earlier in the night they alerted to a very loud, unknown, man made noise. They spent the remainder of the night on the tree or nest and eventually mated before their departure today.

Only 1 in the attic tonight that can be seen on cam 2. I think it may be Harriet as she had been in the area recently flying and perching. Wonder where M15 is?

Instead of wondering where M15 was last night, I should have been wondering where Harriet was as finally after midnight the mod was able to confirm it was M15 in the attic. Surprisingly, Harriet flew in to join him at 2:10 this morning. Per mod there were some alerts when an eagle and sub adult were seen by them in the area this morning. Nestorations and mating and bonding continue. Nobody is home for now.

9.10 am - 9.23 am They are in the nest again. M15 then on the branch and Harriet stays in the nest

11.12 am H to the nest with pine bough. Goes up to the attic.

11.13 am H flies off the attic across the road.

Harriet and M15 are currently on the nest working. They had a quiet night per mods.

Another quiet night for Harriet and M15 and morning mating!

Another owl attack last night! Harriet and M15 are okay. This one happened before midnight, but Harriet and M15 were awake and saw the owl before it tried to strike and both got out of the way. Harriet went on to give chase and it looks as if they may have locked talons mid air before she chased the owl away! The beginning of Lady Hawk's video shows the attempted strike up close and at 6:25 from the pond cam you can see when Harriet locks talons with the owl and as it goes quickly at 8:33 the slo-mo. Hope this owl gets the message!!

Another owl attack at 1:54 this morning! This time Harriet was knocked off her perch and she went to another branch and flew possibly in pursuit of the owl per mod. When she returned it was to the nest. She appears to be okay. Later she went back to the attic and M15 went to the nest and eventually back to the attic. Currently, they are awake and perched in the upper attic. M15 is stretching and preening. Occasional vocals.
