I love eagles and water.
https://sportsmansparadiseonline.com/so ... -eagle-cam

My first eaglecan experience was NBG.
When they rescued the 3 nestlings and brot them to the wildlife center,
the youngest, the male, drank water.
One of his siblings fed him!!! :15heartbeat:
This just brings back sweet memories -
- and the sad memory of why they were rescued

:1val: Thanks for the pics, Shep! It was so much fun seeing E12 without fear discover the feel of the water and step by step ... this must be dipped and that must be dipped ... and complete her 1st bath!! I think she kinda plopped down on the little beach 1st, but I would have to see a vid to refresh my memory for sure. :10val:

:1val: Another milestone for E12! Saw this on FB from SWFEC last night:

E12 & E13 have been busy spending lots of time in their new favorite place, the pond! E12 also hit a great milestone of flying to the nest with food; delivered to the area by dad. So cool to watch these two grow and learn everyday!

I have really not had time for this site this year. first year, in years. but what a treat for me to watch today.

it just really warmed my heart :15heartbeat:

I did two of my own videos while watching the dynamics of this special site.

We can all take some lessons from the mods and people who love this site. We lost Ozzie, and although heartbroken, we all accepted the new male. He has been wonderful for Harriet. the nest fell and we watched them rebuild , piece by piece , through Wizkerkins. Wizkerkins , bless her sweet heart , hurt more than anyone ,but as we all know, this is nature, and we never forget but move on. We have been blessed by the prichetts, to watch all of this through wonderful cams. And a few times , the powers to be, interfered for the good of the nest.

nature is tough , as I well know , sometimes, but the trick is to remember the greats, our special ones,, and that , they act on instinct and survival, . We can never replace them, but others come along and are great in their own right. Every falcon, eagle, osprey , owl, is different. that is what makes it so grand. :7val: :7val: :7val:
Now I hop e I can remember all this as I prepare to meet whoever returns to my sites :girlyes:

will post epicures and videos when i come home

here is one video

rest to come

Move over Harriet and M15, there's a bigger bald eagle family in town!
Residents refer to the female as "Fertile Myrtle"! :teehee:
Lots of pics!!

There were 5 eagles seen on cam 2 tonight between the nest tree and the OCT! Harriet? Visitor left about 10 minutes ago!!

From Mod 8:26p There is an eagle in the treetop left side, (cam 2 view) H/M on OCT and E's on attic lower branch inner extension. We have 5 eagles in the tree.

:buzzybee: The visitor returned @ some point from my post above. Right now you can see 5 eagles on cam 2!! I still can't believe Harriet and M15 did not react ...

From mod: 3:54am The visitor remains on the upper perch. M15 and E12 are awake. Harriet and E13 are both tucked. M15 is above Harriet and E13 is to the left of E12 on the inner limb.

And gone!! Newest update from mod:

: 6:54am M15 very vocal, agitated, and finally chases away the visitor, looks like he chased them across the road then back and toward the South. 6:56am E12 hops over to the outer branch and climbs higher. 6:59am E12 flies off into the pasture.
