Minnie fledged!! I am so happy for him and all of you faithful supporters!!

I brought thi s over from a post on peregrine Place from Denise

We are just home from UB. I live fairly close. He was on the tower above the nest box when I arrived. I looked down to send a text and he’d flown off. Carol was with me by then. We eventually found him in the neighborhood adjacent to the campus on a house roof. Stayed there for a very long time, then made he way to a high roof top below the nest box. Dixie was aware and watching so he will be taken care of.

Here is Yankee. It looks like he lost part of his toe unless it is curled back. Hmmmm Bev, can you tell?






Happy Father's day to Yankee!!

I took a picutre also Sally. I will take a close look. Yankee came in wee hours of morning and slept at box. He has been back a few times and he and Dixie bonded, as they will but never both staying g. so that must be a good sign. with only one youngster, not as much work.

will be back later, but have cam downstairs recording in case youngster makes an appearance

Happy Father’s Day Yankee! After he had a nap in the nestbox this afternoon, he chirped to his new fledgling on Clark Hall. The little one flew up towards the tower & Yankee joined him for a nice flight together. Denise & I witnessed the fledgling make several short flights around the tower area. Much improved from yesterday! Dixie was also seen today.-Carol L.

I was there from 5-6 and all 3 falcons were seen. Dixie on perch, Yankee higher up on the tower and the juvie on the ac unit on top of the Pharmacy building!

I think something is covering that art of toe Sally. a piece of debris or prey. not sure. will keep looking when he comes in
He spent the night in box sleeping. Dixie spent some of night on ledge

Yankee has spent evenings sleeping at nestbox. And quite a bit of time during day.

She did some wing flapping and is gone already! I was thrilled to see her.

wow , ally, I went to see if my recorder caught it but for some reason I only had 4 hours instead of 8. sorry, but I am over the moon.

Dixie came quickly to left perch , close to box at 13:29
14:14- yankee came to box. he talked to Dixie
14:17- wind took Dixie and she had trouble holding one.
14:18- Dixie flew out to left and Yankee hopped to right side
wil try for photos later

Yankees foot is sorer than usual. Maybe youngster grabbed in a pre exchange or something like that. Hope all is well.

It was hot and humid yesterday and the same weather is on for today! Dixie struggles in the heat.

yankee was in also. lying down with wings out for heat. then he was backwards on lip of box . I actually think he slipped off
