She's being very quiet Carly. No vocals, no alarm calls, she's staying close to eggs. Not incubating right now, but standing over them.

Birdgirl can't find 2nd bird at the moment.

Carly - I think you are right. Something is definitely wrong with DC and for a male to show up on territory, something must have happened last night, or early this morning.

Bird on well wall. B is being quiet. Not responding. Other bird quiet.

I don't think this is UT. Larger bird. markings look different to me. Chest seems darker than UT.

He's now on the deck. Visible on cam 2. Approaching nestbox. B is not moving, but she's honed in watching this bird.

Everyone on chat thinks B is not bothered.

I think she's protecting her eggs. And giving a stare like she's going to kill it if it comes closer.

11:27 - picture too, but I just can't be 100% sure... if banded.

I agree. She wouldn't chase him away. At this point, she needs to ensure the safe hatching of her eggs and it's the tiercel that has to suck up to her and gain acceptance. If DC has lost his territory though, she might not trust this guy not to hurt her eggs yet. She'll wait to see if DC shows up and if he doesn't then she would accept a new male for the sake of her offspring.

I f you red back in tweets, DC did move this morning , from one spot to another. He flew there

do not give up on him .keep positive

We have a falcon that keeps coming into University site at Edmonton. buzzed nest box a few times the other day when Chase was not around. Radisson just moved to front of box but did not fly off.
