I really hate it when they start getting up there...

I think he/she may be regretting the decision to get up there...It is very windy!!! She's thought about getting back into the box a couple of times but had to abort that decision. At least she's facing into the wind but if she turns..YIKES..

June 24, 2013 at 2:49 pm I know, it’s hard not to worry sometimes. I saw them all get out in the rain this morning, I figured they were taking showers. Then I watched as the one was on the roof during some windy weather and then he took a nap up there, he must of got hungry cause he came down and was tearing at some left overs I think he just likes it up there! I am trying to judge if that is the female as it looks a little bigger then other two. At this point and time I don’t know if the 3 days difference in age makes one bigger then the other or not. I do beleive they are doing just fine though, I am hoping to get some pics on my walk to the parking lot tonight. This morning I got some pics of 2 of the chicks and both parents, but the 3rd chick must of been asleep in the box as I did not see it.

All three were in the nest box for some food this evening. Now they are all sleeping. :girlyes:

Thanks for the vid...and I'm glad they made it back to the box. At one point NOBODY was in the box..1 was on the box roof and the other 2 were totally out of cam view...Now they have all discovered life outside the box!!
