Not sure what's going on at Blackdog. That camera is a disaster.
She does gather up that one over by the wall, so it looked like 3, but today, I'm not so sure they are all still there.

Blackdog...having to revise my count..3 chicks and 1 egg..I think..

Something is very wrong with these chicks..the cam is lousy and isn't really refreshing...

Mom left to get a feed...dad came in, but didn't want to leave and had a tug-0-war over the food...then I got a better look at the chicks..I don't know what is wrong with them...see the black? Reminds me of the kids at Indy several years ago. 3 of those 4 chicks died...

Mom blocked the feed so I couldn't see what happened..

I don't know what is going on with youtube, every time I upload some thing it get put on that private thing, so I switch it and it goes right back. Maybe i'll start a new account.

Thanks KF...it worked that time...

I don't know what it is with YouTube...sometimes it won't even upload my vids...says it doesn't "recognize" the format...heck, I use the same format every time...

I think I see three chicks. And from what I saw in the archives I think the fourth egg never hatched and broke up today. Maybe that is what she was removing/eating?
I have been away from the computer a lot today, weather finally was good/warm enough to do some serious gardening.

Thanks for the pics, ljames...it is very hard to watch this nest or to even check the archives..these chicks are in trouble..

I have emailed Amy. I'm not sure there is anything she can do about this, but at least I wanted her to know. Maybe an intervention is possible. Who knows. This just reminds me so much of the Indy situation several years ago...and we know how that turned out...only one survived!!! :girlsad3:

I watched both of those feeds and it was really sad. They keep falling over. She had the one under her and he was feeding the chick propped up. He was feeding mom as well. Ugh.
