Just tuned in after getting back from the store. Could hear all kinds of screaming, and figured a feeding was going on, but no matter which view, couldn't see it. One chick looked like it took part of the prey into the scrape, and is still working on it. Lil Dad came prancing over to the stick afterwards. All four are near the scrape now. I'm starting to think there are three males and one female, but maybe two males and two females. Just had a look at what the one in the scrape has. Head of either a Flicker or Red-bellied Woodpecker.

Was all ready to turn this off for a while when Lil Dad landed over near the column with some Starling sized bird. Niecey came in from somewhere on the ledge, but could see the chicks grabbing at the prey behind the scrape. Couldn't see if she was feeding them or not, but I think so. She finally flew off, but it looks like they may still be working on the thing behind the scrape. And now I MUST get off this thing!

Lil Dad just came into the scrape to work on the remains of the woodpecker from earlier. That got the chicks all screaming. One grabbed the remains and took it to the ledge. Lil Dad took off, but returned to try to feed whatever was left, but that didn't work at all. Looked like one chick was pecking at Lil Dad's wing. Am I the only one watching anything today?????

WELL I'M GUESSING THE CHICKS FOUND OUT ABOUT THE CAMS BECAUSE IT LOOKS TO ME THAT ALL ARE BEHIND THE SCRAPE HIDING FROM US!

LIL DAD BROUGHT FOOD. NIECEY CAME BACK IN FRONT OF THE SCRAPE AND THEN IN SCRAPE WITH IT. ONLY ONE CAME IN THE BACK DOOR TO EAT. THEN A SECOND IN THE BACK DOOR AND ONE AROUND THE FRONT AND ONE IS SITTING BESIDE THE SCRAPE. HAVEN'T BEEN AROUND FOR A WHILE TODAY AND THESE CHICKS LOOK HUGE! LIKE THEY DOUBLED IN SIZE!

It may appear that I do nothing all day but sit and watch. NOT TRUE! Must say I was tempted to run downtown this afternoon but didn't. Looks like three are settled in the scrape for the night, and one out on the ledge by the stick. Niecey on the shield.

Watched a feeding from earlier today too. Niecey, just plopped down in the mist of the chicks with prey

Well Jane, I have been here off and on all day. Company left a bit ago. Went to Stanley's for dinner as usual. You know where that is Jane. I see Wilmington is asking for Falcon Watch starting next Sat. through the following weekend. Here we go on the Falcon Marathon!! LOL!!!

WAS CALLED IN TO WORK @MIDNIGHT, STILL ON CALL TILL 0800. JUST GOT HOME AND SEE NEICEY ON THE SHIELD AND THE 4 BABES CRYING FOR BREAKFAST. IS IT RAINING THERE OR JUST FOGGY?

LIL DAD BROUGHT FOOD, NIECEY WENT TO GET IT. SHE BROUGHT IT INTO THE SCRAPE. ONE CHICK WAS ALREADY IN THERE AND STOLE THE PRAY AND NIECEY HAD TO GET IT BACK. NOW ALL 4 AND NIECEY IN SCRAPE, FULL HOUSE!

WELL ONE CHICK TOOK THE PREY, NIECEY ESCAPED TO THE SHIELD. I'M BETTING SHE WILL HAVE TO GO BACK IN TO HELP EVENTUALLY, THE WINGS AND ALL WERE ON THAT PREY!
