First egg! Let's hope this is Durand's year. Currently she is resting center of the nestbox. Hope the scrape is adequate too!

I hope Spark will assume some of the incubation duties, it is mighty cold in Columbus with no sign of warming up through next week!

I saw her moving around in the box and thought she might be near egg-laying. Then I had to tend to my masters (the cats) and missed it :furious: :teehee:
What a GREAT video Mary-Anne! You can see the egg dry almost within a minute.

This is so exciting to see an egg in the nest this morning - thank you so much everyone for being ther to watch the blessed event. I had to be out last evening making sandwiches for the soup kitchen.
