Yum! So we are having blue jay for supper? The beautiful feather reminds me of how photographers can take a picture, and only add color to a few objects in the picture. :girlyes:

Wish that littlest one would get over on this side so we could see him. I always worry a bit when I can't see the smallest one, but I'm sure he's being well-cared-for like the others! :flirty:

I was confused, ljames. I'm watching a feeding now & Moxie is almost totally blocking the view, so I didn't know how you got some captures of the chicks! :teehee:

That feeding explains why they didn't seem particularly interested in eating now. Can't see if she got any takers, but she's still standing there so I guess she woke them up.

Thanks for posting Carey's videos, SGB! Love them! This is the closest I've seen a cam to tiny chicks. Looks like Moxie feeds like another mother (Lil, maybe?) in that she feeds 1 chick at a time & doesn't stop til they're full! :eggthumbup:
