No one there but Spidey. Hope to see Niecey at least later on today. It was 35 degrees this morning in Wilmington. Bird bath frozen on top. I guess Lil Dad wanted to get out of town before the Real cold hit! :-(

It would be neat if Lil Dad stayed around for the winter. Guess it is unlikely, but with the way these two have bonded I think it is not out of the realm of possibilities.

HE WAS ON THE POINT AND NIECEY CAME IN BY THE BLDG RIGHT AFTER HE FLEW OFF AND WENT TO THE SCRAPE. SHE WAS ON THE POINT TALKING AND RAN UP THE LEDGE TO HIM IN THE SCRAPE. THEY BONDED QUICKLY AND LIL DAD TOOK OFF. I HAD TO LEAVE. I'M GUESSING HE'S TRYING TO TELL HER SHE HAS TO BE AT THE LEDGE MORE.

am so happy that lil dad has not fown the coop for his annual vacation. hopefully we are all wishing that he deides this year to have a staycation to keep niecey company :woohoo:

I GUESS THEY ARE OUT GETTING READY FOR THE COLD WEATHER OR SOMETHING. OR MAYBE LIL DAD IS TRYING TO LEAVE AND SHE'S FOLLOWING AND THEN HE HAS TO COME BACK, LOL!

Bummer about the cam, again! Wish a permanent solution could be found. My plans for being downtown tonight have now changed, so won't be down there today.

HERE'S A SWEET TREAT COMPLIMENTS OF MY FRIEND STEVE DALE :-)

HE SAID REGULARS AT THE DAM SAY THE BROKEN WINDOW WAS THE ENTRANCE TO THIS YEAR'S ORIGINAL NEST SITE. THIS WAS BEFORE THE NEST BOX WAS BUILT AND EVERYTHING WAS MOVED, INCLUDING THE CHICKS, AROUND THE CORNER OF THE BUILDING.

IN THE THIRD PICTURE, LIL ONE'S MATE WENT INSIDE THE BROKEN WINDOW AFTER THE PHOTO. LIL ONE FLEW INTO THE AREA OF THE NEW NEST SITE. I'M GLAD LIL ONE KNOWS WHAT HE'S DOING, LOL!
