I wonder if there was a feeding today "S" left and I watched til 4:30 and he didn't come back.
Anyone see anything?

Feeding going on it looked like it was yellow what ever it was not real big but enough for the chicks. :clap:
You can hear that egg talking also.

OK, ME left the box screaming, so I'm guessing dad brought some food. Only see 2 chicks yet, but boy are they yelling!

Edit: I can see that its one of the kids doing the chirping, other one is screaming.

Now dad has come to keep his kids company, so I guess mom is preparing the meal.

I wonder if anybody else saw that bit with the egg. (At first I thought it was eggshell, then after she moved, I saw it was the egg.) She was preening & accidentally flipped the egg with her wing. Well, it rolled under the cam like it was light as air. I don't think there's a chick in it to be that light. She went to retrieve it & was kinda checking it out & rolled it back where it was.

I was wrong. She actually didn't move the egg back to be incubated. In fact, as you can see in this capture, she's ignoring it already.

Edit: Well, now she's looking at it, probably thinking that it should be under her, so she may well put it under her again.

I first started watching and thought boy ME sure is starting to look more like an adult. Turns out, it was S . :duh:
ME came in shortly with prey, which I guess he had actually brought in. Both chicks were fed.

Forgot to post that ME again couldn't decide what to do with the leftovers. Also poor baby is on it's back. I always hate that.

Sweet ME is looking so hot, weather says its only 66 but she is panting. Not much but enough to make me feel bad for her. :girlyes:

This must have been at the end of the feed...the baby on the bottom never got up, tho I could hear it..it must have been full..and check out the hole in that egg!!! YIKES..

You probably can't see this very well, but ME must have thought she was an owl as she tried numerous time to swallow this all at once...she finally gave up and tore it into pieces...some she fed and some she ate..

Who knows about that...the entire time I was watching during that feed, I saw no movement in the egg...of course, that really doesn't mean a lot...
