NIECEY JUST WENT IN THE SCRAPE AGAIN LOOKING AROUND FOR SCRAPS I GUESS. FINALLY WHEN ONE ACTED LIKE IT WAS GOING TO BITE AT HER, SHE LEFT. BOY, THEY REALLY SCREAM WHEN THEY SEE HER AND STOP WHEN SHE'S GONE, LOL!

NIECEY IS ON THE SHIELD AND LIL DAD AT THE END OF THE LEDGE WITH ANOTHER RED BELLIED WOODPECKER :-(

No Kestrel picture, sorry. I was in the car, and didn't have the camera anyway. Have seen him before in that area, though. That Red-belly looks like it was a female. :-(

LIL DAD WAS ON THE POINT WITH A BLUEJAY. HE YELLED FOR NIECEY AND SHE DIDN'T GO GET IT. HE FLEW UP TO THE SCRAPE WITH IT AND BOY SHE CAME RUNNING THEN AND TOOK IT FROM HIM. SHE'S NOW DEFEATHERING AND FEEDING THE CHICKS.

Was going to post about the bluejay also. The one has a yellow feather stuck to it. :teehee:

Saw the hummingbird again today, but was on the phone and didn't get a picture.

After Niecey grabbed the bluejay from Lil Dad, did anyone else see him fly up to the camera and land on it, giving it a bit of a jiggle? Like he was flying right at you. :girlluv:

They are just about finished with another meal. No time to post pictures but when Niecey came in to feed, I saw Lil ' Dad near the point with more prey. Don't know where that went, was hoping he'd come in and feed again. One of the bigger chicks had an extremely hard time getting a leg back up during the feed . :sad:

I WISH I WOULD HAVE BEEN RECORDING! LIL DAD SHOWED UP AND GAVE THE TINIEST LITTLE SCRAPE I'VE EVER SEEN AND NIECEY TAKES IT IN THE SCRAPE IN THE BACK, ONE CHICK GRABS IT AND IS TRYING TO EAT IT WHOLE. NIECEY IS TRYING TO GET IT BACK AND THEN ANOTHER CHICK STARTS PLAYING TUG A WAR WITH THE OTHER CHICK, TOO FUNNY!

A thunderstorm is about a half an hour away from Harrisburg. It's dripping at my place, and can hear thunder off in the distance. Niecey was on the shield when I first looked now, but she's not there at the moment.
