If both pairs are nesting< and of course we do not know if the other pair is yet, then thye should pretty well stick to their territory. ( unless by accident , thye venture too clsoe) .

I am just going by how clsoe nests are in Toronto. After eggs are laid or vlsoe to it, I do not think, they would want to tassle with anyone, except unattached falcons.

Maybe the strange takeover was because she is clsoe to egglaying. i have seen on again off again by pairs when it is close.

Such a strange afternoon...

Still waiting for egg #2..Lil has been standing in the nest all afternoon!!! And just when ya think.."this is it.."...bam...here comes Dan...

She became so excited right before he landed, I thought for sure he'd brought her a snack, but didn't see one. Anyway, she took a break and he watched over the little egg. Now I think that she is back. No additional egg yet.

You know, it always seemed to me like, while Clara would take forever, twisting and turning, up and down, and not looking too good at all, Diamond Lil would be like, bam, done, but not today. :girlsad3:

It seems forever when we are watching. do you not remember Radisson doing this. I would think, O.K. and no cigar.

I find it fascinating how the male comes in to check , but when egg is out , they bring a present.

Will try and watch for a bit
