Well Fargo has lost one of the kids, :tissue:

Discovery was found by the animal control on the ground.
Animal control was there & took her to a park and left her there. There was a watcher there, and told them to called the Audubon they tried no one answered so they just left it on the ground never tried to call fish & game. :furious:

The watcher finally got hold of fargo audubon but it was to late. Those people really need to get their sh** together.

So very sad and tragic, you're right...

I just finished reading all the comments..I'm not really sure How I missed seeing them, since I kept checking to see if the cam was back (it was supposed to stay on until the 31st)

As tragic and senseless as Discovery's death is, I really can't fault anybody. It all points to lack of knowledge and education (to me) with regard to animal control. Maybe they don't have a protocol in place for raptors when they can't reach anybody. Maybe with animal control they aren't aware that if you find a fledgling raptor, on the ground, that is easily picked up, that something is wrong and should not be released until a med check....too many "what ifs"....Let's hope they are working on a solution right now so that this never happens again!!! Poor Discovery... :sorrow:
