Not sure who this is. I think its too small to be Niecey.

Edit: Well, maybe it was Niecey because whoever it was is gone from the ledge now & I see someone perched on the corner of the U.

NO BAND WAS THERE FIRST AND WAS IN THE SCRAPE AND THEN NIECEY CAME IN AND THEY BONDED FOR A WHILE. I DIDN'T WATCH THE REST, BUT I WOULD GUESS NIECEY FLEW OVER TO THE CORNER OF THE UNIV WAITING FOR NB FOR A CANOODLE, AT LEAST THAT IS THE NORM.

I'd say this was Niecey. This falcon has the v in her back. The way the feathers lay. I studied this the other day. My way of saying it's Niecey.

Thanks, Carly--I did find it after reading your post.

That must have been 3 males cause I don't think Niecey would get involved in a tiercel fight. Of course, the 1st 2 there were bowing to each other, so I'm a bit confused. I was thinking maybe that was Lil Dad & one of his boys, but I just don't know. Or maybe they were crouched down getting ready to fight. I was looking for our nail-biting icon but didn't find it.

Edit: After watching the video again, I do think Niecey was one of the 3. She was helping chase one of the tiercels away. I hope it was Lil Dad she was helping! Hard to listen to that. :sum7:

OK, EVERYONE, JANE AND I ARE DOWNTOWN. NIECEY HAS BEEN ON THE UNIV AND THERE IS A MALE ON THE CORNER OF 333 THE WHOLE TIME. HE KEEPS CRYING OUT JUST LIKE LIL DAD USED TO AND NOW JANE GOT A PICTURE AND WE ARE 99.7% SURE WE SEE A BLACK/RED BAND! WHICH WOULD MEAN IT IS LIL DAD. WE ARE NOW WARMED UP SOME AND WILL GO BACK OUT NOW TO FREEZE OUR BIPPIES OFF!

Oh, this is sounding so much better now--thanks, Reenie! I was so tempted to go downtown even though I haven't even showered. Could only think that I don't care if I stink if I can do something to help Lil Dad!

One has been back to the shield 3 times in the last few minutes. It didn't sound like Lil Dad although the new cams probably have a different sound system. Whoever it was seemed very agitated!

I zoomed in to try to see if there were bands, but I couldn't tell.

PS: I joined earlier this month, however I have been a quest since late one morning last April when I stumbled upon a site showing a live cam of a peregrine falcon with her 2 babes just hatched. What a thrill. I was very ignorant then of falcons. I was trying to identify a bird of prey with gray, horizontal, stripes across its belly that was on the ground, at my feeder, trying to capture a dove.
