Bird Cams Around the World

Don't see anyone now! Stay" Dry" today! That is the word for the week! I guess the birds don't mind.

JANE'S REPORT FROM LAST NIGHT AND PICTURE OF THE JUVIE WITH FOOD THAT LJAMES POSTED.

Well, I can see should have stayed downtown less than five minutes more. Got down a little after 7. Saw nothing that looked like a falcon for a while, and then two juvies came flying in from the direction of the church down on Second Street. Another followed shortly afterwards. They were flying above me on the garage roof, but then kind of went their separate ways. One eventually landed on this pipe thing over on the roof of PA Place, but before that it was after some prey. Found another one on the back corner of 333. Needed to use the restroom, so went into the train station. I could see that on the way over to the station the juvie on PA Place had flown while I was going over there. Went back to the garage roof, and eventually saw a falcon fly over the Hilton towards City Island, but have no idea where it went. Looked all around, and I found Niecey sitting on top of what was probably an elevator shaft on a bank building down on Second Street across from the Hilton. Never saw a falcon sitting there before. At 8:30 I decided to give up, but watched the juvie on the top of 333 a bit to see if it returned to the ledge. It didn't, so I got in my car and left. When I turned the corner onto Fifth Street, I glanced over my shoulder up at 333, and the juvie was gone. Figures. Did not see Lil Dad anywhere.




Juvie has been defeathering and eating at the column for a while, but I missed how she got the food, a delivery or she brought it to the ledge?

Juvie eating, but stood there screaming for a while. Good grief, don't they know to keep a low profile when they have food. That's funny Reenie, juvie stashing food for later. I can't even picture it.

She is still crying and seems to be looking up some, maybe a parent up on the cam. I hope nothing is wrong , now leaning up against the window. Maybe she just wants to be fed by Niecey.

Have been watching and listening to the screamer up there for a while now. Would be willing to bet there's an adult on either the camera or cable over the ledge.

A few minutes ago there were three juvies on the ledge. One took off over the U Building and kept going. One is still over at the orange post, and one having a barrel of fun on the shield, in the scrape, and out in front of the scrape. And it just looked like the juvie that had been over at the scrape may have gotten up on the cam or cable. Camera changed, and it was heading up there. Wish I could be down there to take a look.

I'm sure it is just my imagination, but I have been thinking this brood is a little behind other years in capturing their own prey. Maybe one of our historian types has some dates from the past as to when they were successful at their own hunting.

A juvie finally flew right up to him and grabbed it.

I don't see her now. I'm thinking it was Blue Girl as the band appeared dark.
