NO FALCONS YET THIS MORNING, BUT WHILE WE WAIT, YESTERDAY, JANE GOT TO DRIVE ACROSS THE BRIDGE THAT NIECEY WAS BORN ON (PA/NJ TURNPIKE BRIDGE). SHE DIDN'T SEE ANY FALCONS, JUST SOME GULLS. THE FALCONS WOULD NEST UNDER THE BRIDGE. SHE WAS KIND ENOUGH TO GET US THIS PICTURE :-)

Wow! Every morning it is such a pleasure to Log On! Wonderful pictures of the Canoodle ljames and bev. All of Reenie's eyes on reporting. Then Jane's picture of the bridge. Gee what coverage!! Looks like things are settling right in for these two. HAPPY, HAPPY! There's a Hymn we sing in church... "Oh My, What a Morning". I will think of these mornings when we sing it.

Big Hawk on the bird feeder yesterday morning in our yard. Wasn't there long enough to get a picture, but sure cleared all the squirrels and birds away. Didn't even get an ident. Probably the Cooper that has been here several times.

Edit: Niecey looked beautiful on the point! Glad to see her there.

Not seeing anyone on the ledge at the moment. Just noticed there were some gulls sitting on top of the bridge in my picture!

I think it's Lil Dad. Could see a pure silver band on the right leg - no tape.

I AGREE! I THINK HE'S WONDERING WHAT HE GOT HIMSELF INTO! ALL'S LEFT NOW IS FOR HER TO RUN DOWN THE LEDGE AND CHASE HIM OFF THE POINT! :teehee:

I don't understand why he just doesn't take the food to her. You know, she did do that the other day and he took off with it. All confusing to me. Watching another nest and the male would bring the food to the female and she would just stand there, not taking it. :???:

meanwhile, back at the point lil dad seems to be more willing to flash his bling than the other week while trying to id him upon his vacation return. now he seems to be really showing it off for all of us
