Thanks Catbird for all the work here. Glad I was able to figure it out by myself!

FINALLY! Got a notice from facebook that somebody posted a picture from Wilmington. Quickly went to the cam, and found Red Girl at home. Don't know how long she had been there before I looked. She hopped up on the ledge while I was watching and then disappeared around 8:48 this morning.

Great that you saw her too, Jane. I couldn't believe it when I finally saw someone home this morning!

Glad you caught Red Girl at home this morning, Ethel. Just checked, and nobody in sight at the moment.

One of the falcons, CJ I think, is perched on the eastern corner of the Brandywine Building roof. He was there two hours ago (1:00 pm) too.

Thanks for the live report, Greg. I'm really looking forward to the spring when Red Girl and CJ start spending a lot more time in the nest . . . it's been so empty there lately.

My thanks too for the report, Greg. Striking out on the cam views again. In a couple weeks I hope to be able to make a stop in Wilmington on the way to NJ.

Here is video and a print article about a Cooper's hawk that was picked up disabled in December, rehabbed at Tri-State and released last week at Bellevue State Park. He was picked up at 222 Delaware Avenue, diagonally across that street from the Brandywine Building. I responded in the last couple years to two reports to Tri-State that a "falcon" was down in the area of the Brandywine Building. Cooper's hawk both times. They both flew away but they ought to learn to stay away from this part of town.

I don't know if the police are following up with Red Girl and CJ or not.

Thanks for sharing those two links, Greg. I wonder if this Ben would like to be part of Kim's falcon watch crew? Maybe she already knows him.

LOL. But seriously, the news and videos about the Cooper's hawk were great. I live only about 2 miles (as the hawk flies) from Bellevue park, and the past week or so I've been seeing a Cooper's hawk flying over and checking out my birdfeeders in the late afternoon. I'm starting to wonder now if it might be Frank, the rescued hawk.

Frank's dad was in my yard last week, and got a Starling! Seriously, I did notice that Frank was a juvie.

Yes, we live only about 3 miles from Bellevue Park and did have a Juvie Cooper in our yard for about an hour, last week. Am posting the pictures on Facebook.

Greg, we came through the city on Rt.95 today, and noticed something I never saw before. Is that a new sign on the Brandywine Bldg. saying "CITI" ??? Or am I really not observant and it has been there all along. I really don't think that was there before?? It stood out on the Skyline. Something for CJ and Red Girl to sit on.

Yes, the sign says CITI. The falcons don't use it. They didn't use the DuPont one that used to be there either. Red Girl used to perch on a pipe but usually they just perch on the edge of the roof itself if they're up there.

They've been catching pigeons and grackles lately.
