HERE'S THE VIDEO FROM YESTERDAY, IT FINALLY GOT DONE. USE THE CLOCK AT THE TOP LEFT AND IT'S RIGHT BEFORE 9:28 AM WHEN THE FIRST FALCON FLIES IN AND GOES BEHIND THE SCRAPE.

MA, IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU COULD ISOLATE JUST THE FIGHT. THANKS!

Thanks Reenie, for reporting that so I can be happy too! I did watch the fight without the sound and it looked like a scrap between two Kitten's. Maybe I am down playing it some, but I was amazed at the momentary pauses in the fight. Like they were having some conversation too!! I hope Lil Dad got his message across and no Band stays away. You have to give him credit as a Falcon, so I hope he finds a "new" place to be. This is Lil Dad's DOMAIN!!! With all the bad weather coming, I hope the BEST for everyone and SAFETY too! Wilmington will not get much but rain. Driving winds though.

Not seeing anyone on the ledge or over on the U at this moment. The weather hasn't started here yet, but is right on our doorstep. There are some school delays for counties south of Harrisburg.

I have to say, though, that these two males have so far handled things in a very decent fashion. And this year's NB has been a decent fellow--just somewhere else, if you please. Not at all like Mr. "I'll-just-ignore-the-female-and-preen--arent-I-gorgeous" who showed up last year.

Now I am just itching for spring to arrive--note to self, stop counting chickies before they hatch!! :egghatch:

WORRY WART HERE, WHY DID NIECEY NOT COME TO THE LEDGE THIS MORNING WITH LIL DAD? WHY ISN'T ANYONE AROUND ON THE LEDGE? DID NIECEY GO AFTER NB BECAUSE SHE LIKES HIM BETTER? I REALLY AM NOT LIKING ALL THIS. I GUESS I SHOULD BE HAPPY I SAW LIL DAD THIS MORNING, BUT I CAN'T HELP BUT WORRY ABOUT THINGS :-(

EDIT: ALSO JUST FOUND OUT NIECEY HASN'T BEEN IN HER FAVORITE SPOT ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE COLUMN YET EITHER :-(

Yesterday was a very active day at the ledge. Perhaps Niecey just wants a day to herself away from the boys after all those goings-on. I do not think she will abandon this territory. I think she just may be upset--after all it was upsetting to us, and this is really her life that we are talking about !
Please do not worry.

Thanks to Reenie & SGB for capturing and isolating that fight scene. To me it looked like the boys had locked talons and were using wings and beaks and vocals to try and intimidate the other. Hopefully, it was all "show" and neither was hurt. Poor Niecey flying by trying to break up the fight.

All of these thoughts are very interesting. Guess we need to think like a falcon. I, like everyone else have not seen anyone via the cam in quite some time. Only bird of prey I've seen this morning was a Turkey Vulture flying past here a while ago. And the weather still hasn't arrived here other than a couple spritzes.

Dang, got a picture but photobucket is saying too big. I hate this new system.
I haven't been reading the posts just watching the cam but I see where SGB has isolated the fight, let me go and see it.

Oh my, it was just as sad and pitiful as before, the fight I mean, but without the heart pounding and shaking. Boy I sure do hate this, but I want Lil' Dad to be here even if Niecey does run off with NB, but I just can't imagine that she will give up this ledge.

I do not think she will give up the ledge. there is a big area around there and they were gone all day after fight and came back end of day.

She may be just staying clear till all is sorted out. Maybe , in falcon talk, that is what little dad ws telling her latte yesterday when he came flying in. Stay off ledge till NB is gone.

Who knows.
