No problem...decorating our tree and watching tweets. Just want to keep those who are interested in the loop. I fear this is Pigott and she's not going to give up this time. :girlsad3:

MAK texted me earlier that it's going to be a long day...Larry has now joined them on lunch hour.

wnyfalconfan (Joyce): Females back over Xerox....again.

wnyfalconfan (Joyce): Battling down east ave. Lost sight of them.

MAKfalcon (MAK): At BS-P not here

wnyfalconfan (Joyce): 2 back over xerox.

loheron (loheron): Xerox pefa now over Alexander looking for second.
At close contact, they are chupping of a sort, but not e chupping, but not alarm kakking.
Over HSBC again and then out over monroe avenue.
Three over MLK park. Contact several times.
Females fighting over Alexander.
Females west of HSBC again.

I just came through the door. Worked through lunch so I could leave early. Thank you everyone for the updates. I'm so upset about this.

I can't help but wonder - if this is Pigott - when DC ran that male she liked off, if she didn't just realize he'd never let her have her own mate and just decided to throw caution to the wind. I guess I underestimated her.

I can't imagine what the girls are going through - on the ground I mean, this has gone on for hours.

Pigott went DT this spring, into the box and DC came in and echupped with her in the box so she has a great taste for the penthouse but what precipitated her to make a move now is beyond me. When I watched her at BS the other day with DC, I felt that she was really content with how things were but....

And the battle goes on....

MAKfalcon (MAK):Females locked talons by the W side of HSBC. Intensity of battle seems to be picking up. :(

Joyce: At BS...no falcon here.

That's what i thought too Kris, even though she came downtown that time...the few times she interacted with Beauty she seemed to run right back home so I figured she knew B was the stronger one. I just pray Beauty survives this and doesn't lose her site. I love Pigott too, dont' get me wrong and I don't want her to die either but she - or whoever this is - has made the choice to battle so they will have to live or die by the consequences.

DC always seemed to escort her out of DT and back to BS but she (if this is Pigott) seems determined to fight to the finish now. I don't want either hurt but I remember how "content" we all thought Unity was at KP and look what happened. I just dread what the ending can be. :girlsad3:

MAK: We have a break in the action with one female on a pipe on Xerox roof. DC on NE corner and no visual of 2nd female
Break over-pipe girl flew over and landed above DC on NE corner of Xerox. This is not Beauty in my opinion
Girls back at it over toward East Ave and back again. DC not in view

What a day. Thanks to the Rochester crew. They are one dedicated group of absolutely wonderful humans. Get some rest while things are quiet.

And thank you Carly for sharing the updates with all of us.

Good to hear she is OK, since its likely that she was the one fighting with Beauty. We already knew Beauty was OK.

Ya know, it was Winter when Unity made her move on Beauty's territory, too.

I know. *sigh* Anyway, I'm hoping P (if it was her) will stay home now and recover and cool off. I'm sure the girls will check on her tomorrow and they'll be able to confirm if it was her based on any injuries, missing feathers, etc. I'll be anxious to see Beauty too and make sure she's none the worse for the wear.

Really the solution is a nest box..and yes I know why they can't do it but I'd bet money if she and Unity had nest boxes and could raise offspring - it wouldn't be so bad. They might always covet the better site but they'd settle for what they had if they could raise young. As Tracy says - they need a 'Plan B' !
I like Plan B. Why won't "they" put up a box?

Thanks carly. Is that building where Pigott sometimes hangs out. But I know what you mean about the owner's wishes outweighing everything else. Our DNR is working to install another box in Indy and being met with resistance. Still working on it though...
