SOMEONE WAS THERE BRIEFLY THIS MORNING, THINKING LIL DAD, BUT THAT CAM IS SO BLURRED IN THE MORNING, NOT TOTALLY SURE.

He's still there are of 8:54 this morning. I might have a chance for a falcon fix later today.

BOTH THERE RIGHT NOW. SAW NIECEY ON THE LEDGE BY THE BAD WINDOW AND THEN SHE WAS ON THE STICK. LIL DAD ON THE POINT :girlluv:

AFTER I POSTED THESE, NIECEY WAS GONE AND I BELIEVE I SEE HER OVER ON THE POINT OF THE UNIVERSITY, YEP, THAT'S HER.

Spent about 45 minutes downtown this afternoon, and did NOT see anything that remotely resembled a falcon. Of course I checked all the usual spots, but came up empty. I did check the lower ledges of the Carson Building from the Chestnut Street Garage roof, and couldn't see anything stashed on any of those ledges. Found some Mourning Dove feathers beneath the nest ledge, and a VERY fresh wing of a Red-bellied Woodpecker. Wondered if that's what Lil Dad was eating this morning.

Thanks for your report, Jane! You must have really wanted a falcon fix if you went out in the cold today. Of course, you aren't a big baby like me... Sorry you didn't see anybody.

Jane thanks for reporting. At least you saw that they are eating well. That corner is a mess. A hard rain or wind would do to clean it away. LOL!! Thanks for the pictures from the last few days. It has warmed up a bit here in Wilm. In the 50's now.

Edit: Looks like Niecey on the stick right now.

Well, I've been colder than yesterday for past falcon fixes. You don't notice the cold IF you see a falcon! Niecey is on the stick as of 8:18 this morning.

ONE OF THE FALCONS IS ON THE BACK CORNER OF 333 ON FOURTH ST SIDE. THINKING PROBABLY NIECEY?

CAN'T HELP BUT WONDER IF LIL DAD STUFFED HIMSELF REALLY GOOD TO LATER TAKE OFF FOR A LITTLE BIT AND NIECEY IS THERE LOOKING FOR HIM TO COME FLYING IN? I'M HOPING I'M WRONG AND HE SHOWS UP TODAY :-)

Well, just knowing that they have been spotted in the past few days does me good. I'd say it warms my heart but I am afraid it is too cold out these days for that!

Snowy Owl at Indian River Inlet. They say at least 5 are believed to be here.

I think there are TWO falcons up there right now. One in the scrape, and one on the point. :-)

Yep, looks like Lil Dad on the point, so that would be Niecey in the scrape.
