So Gord saw 3 , so this was later.
this is second time she has laid 5 eggs



I do not want 5 at U of A have enough trouble chasing the ones we get LOL

That's all I've ever seen too. But yesterday I checked in and there they were. I barely got the capture and she was back. In all, it was about 20 seconds from the time I saw them till the time they were covered again. After watching how she struggled to fit over them all, it makes sense that she stays put so much.

Can someone explain why E4 seems so upset. She's sure been talking a lot the past while. I don't know enough to expect that this is quite normal or if there's something wrong.

Wouldn't you know it, now she's all calm and settled. Seems annoyed for at least 20 minutes. Could have been longer, only began watching about then.

I have not been watching as away , but she could have been calling for the male to take over.

I'll keep watching E4 and see if I can catch a shift change so I have a better idea of what to look for. I have yet to see more than one bird at this sight so when there is only one to me it's E4 only because I don't know any better.
Yesterday when she seemed so agitated, she was looking in a direction that was more to the bottom right of my screen, than toward the outside world that we see on the screen. She was at times raising herself up a bit with her wings lifting a bit but not out stretched but her call while loud did not seem frantic.

have been leaving recorder on all Edmonton an d genesse sites.
things going well here . trying to see if male is banded . sometimes it looks like he is and others not.

i HAVE BEEN KEEPING AN EYE AND HAVE TO GO OUT BUT HAVE RECORDER ON. lots of chupping and whining going on off and on???

must have been miscommunication as eggs were alone for over an hour.

The other falocn had come in twice and left before banded one left and eggs were alone??

keeping close watch here wet and cold here but vent should have kept eggs O.K.
