Feed going on right now..

there were at least 6 feeds today. in 2 of them , one of bigger ones did not feed each time. I am thinking different ones each time as they always have full crops.
In one feed male came in with food as female was feeding. which she grabbed and continued

male came i to feed at one time but kids were stuffed LOl

Storm in evening and one of adults came in to be with kids.

If Gord gets out of flooded Canmore , I believe banding early in week, possibly Monday. everything is up in air right now

bell down but they are working on it. Must have been storm last nihgt. When will this rain end

If y9ou look at part 2 you will notice they put a bit of quail with chick.

will be very warm over next few days. these kids are feeding a lot out of view now . shen they all go running you know a feed is in
In a perfect world they will not ledge till after July10

I really thought it was posted so must be loosing what little marbles I have left

It has been such a rough year at the nests world wide and I am just starting and worn out emotionally already

they have repositioned cam and so you can see whole ledge. Mom was not happy

so briefly, watching here as not looking normal today. Do not know if feeds .calling all day. mom on guard.

as of yesterday all 3 females were still there and will hopefully stay put till weekend. youngest is 36 days old . oldest is 40 days old but it is ideal to stay put as females till around day 43

I had to notify Gord, that 4 chick was not doing well after second day. Gord went up and got it and it is being taken care of and will hacked with about 15 others along Pembina. This is great for it. It is doing well.

this is a 6 minute video but please take the time and watch. this shows you the progression of a self feed of 3 females. they all eventually get fed. O f course they keep chasing mom but that is how they go . LOL

I have watched this many times from the ground but this is the first time I caught it on tape so you can see that they really do all get some. but usually the youngest is last.
