I was just so lucky to see this.

We see so much and think they are vicious sometimes when feeding but in the end they all get some. They decide the order.

Cam has been out for a day and a half and so Peter and I will go down there tomorrow

peter and I are on our way down here. This site really makes me nervous with all the glass and now we have had nothing but rain.
they were going to try an d put cam back up for today only. a little late for that.

There's nothing flying around down here this morning -- too rainy even for pigeons, I think. I check on the rooftop of that parkade on the west side of the building, and all is fine there.

Peter and I were down there for a few hours today . We were in parking lot and then moved to 102 st parkade

Adult was on top of Bell. After a bit it flew off and went into nest ledge. We were in parking lot at the time. Then we drove around , checked ground and then went up to parkade.
a bit later adult flew into nest ledge again and all sorts of kid noise.sweet sound to my ears I know more than one for sure an d I would not be surprised if all 3 were there. We could not see inside ledge but so noisy. Adult flew out again and went to top of Bell

these are all females so it is not surprising that they are not gone yet. If we had a male in mix , he would have fledged already and then girls would be anxious to go. Of course , I cannot say without cam up but I am optimistic that they are all still on nest ledge

will try and check again this week but I am wearing out. need to rest up fledge watch next week at U of a

ALL GIRLS??? I missed that post~~! Well if there is alot of glass this may be best since they will be slower.....Don't want to hear of what occured with our boy's...Sometimes the weather plays in favour!

Bev, I found one of the girls down on the Stantac building. They are closer for me to watch and not pay for parking . Sorry to have phoned you so late.

I heard from Gord, via e-mail. A bit upset and confused right now. One female is injured and will never fly again. . Do not know when she came down but hopefully will hear more tomorrow. this one on Stantec roof is being watched by Bell. and confusing thing is Gord says he was told male is flying fine. what male
Well we saw no youngsters flying today and we just saw one youngster on nest ledge, when we went down after 10pm . When adult went in today, lots of calling by kids. It was more than one kid.

Now at banding, Alberta Conservation reported 3 females. Went back and looked again.

so I am really confused.

I am ready to throw in towel already

may be I need to take a few years off.

Hi! I'm at work now and looked down at the Stantac roof -- no one there. I'll be looking from time to time throughout the day. As we came down 101 Street, Bob thought he saw one at the casino. I'll keep an eye out.

it was in corner , where you would not necessarily see it.It was on east side of stantec part9 right close to Bell builidng) and under overhang when we left it . O f course we know they get going real early in morning.

but it could not make it up on that ledge last night

I have been waiting for the Alberta Conservation to post and I do not know if I am supposed to, but we have one deceased female, one in rehab and the Male( who we ere told was a female) is flying.

Gord is too too happy about this as it was the high west winds on that side. He is going to make this west side as unattractive as possible for nesting and make east side as attractive as possible, with even a 3 sided box and the best of gravel for scraping and then put vlecro asro r on ledge so they can get better grip when wingcersizing.

He said there are fatalities at this site but if he can prevent anymore , he is going to try.
