AFTER GOING TO PORCH SCRUMMAGING, LEAVES OFF LEDGE WITH PIECE OF PREY! HAD TO GO OUT TO LOOK @ NUMBERS AND THIS IS DURAND! HAVE BEEN CHECKING SITE FREQUENTLY SINCE LAST POST OF ONE ON ROOF, BUT HAVE NO WAY OF KNOWING FOR SURE THAT THIS IS THE SAME ONE I HAVE BEEN WATCHING ALL MORNING. DON'T KNOW IF SKYGIRLBLUE HAS BEEN RECORDING SITE THIS MORNING.

Good morning everyone!! I have to share a very short story about my very small adventure of last evening. I arrived downtown last evening around 5:40 and had about 20 minutes until my bus was to come and take me home. I could not leave downtown without walking the grounds and looking for our dear falcons; my intention was to walk behind the Rhodes in the alley as that seems to be a busy place. I have had Dart on my mind and heart and hope that he is doing well. Anyway, I digress, I was walking on the other side of the state house when I heard a bunch of screaming - yea it's a falcon - I looked over the statehouse in time to see one fly across the top of it and more screaming. I started to head around the building when I heard it again toward the Huntington - so I turned around and headed that way - then the screaming stopped - I got around the tower side of the statehouse - no one. I thought they have to be here close - still no one. Then I did hear more screaming but in the distance - at least I saw the falcon this time - yea!! Bad news, I have no idea who it was - rofl I won't be downtown until tomorrow as I drove to work today.

Have a great day today and let's hope that maybe our Dart will show up on the ledge just to let us know that he is doing fine - I could only hope, right?

WOO HOO...well, you heard juvie (s) and you saw a falcon!!! I would say SUCCESS!!!

Thanks for keeping an eye out, rosekk!!!

this was around 4:20 pm...no vocals...I'm about 80% sure this is a juvie because: the landing (which I missed recording) was fairly comical and when I enlarge/lighten I cannot find any white on the throat/breast, etc...of course, with the glare that's probably not very reliable..

I guess the bottom line is that we'll never know..
