Bird Cams Around the World

No falcons in sight at the moment. Severe storm watch for our area until 10:00 tonight. Still planning on running downtown after dinner unless the storms arrive by then.

Spent about an hour and a half downtown tonight. Pretty sure it was Green on the stick for a while, and I was able to see that feather dancing for real. One of the girls was on the point of the U roof, and found Niecey at the louvers under the U roof. First time I've seen her in a while. Found Lil Dad on the window sill around the corner from the nest ledge when I needed to go into the Amtrak station. When I came out the girl on the U was gone. Green flew a circle around the Carson Building and landed on top of one of the three sets of windows on the left side of the Carson Building. After a bit, his one sister came to sit opposite him. Then another falcon came from around the side of 333 and nearly took my head off. It circled around near the Mulberry Street Bridge and joined the other two juvies. Noticed that Niecey was no longer over at the U Building, but this third falcon was acting very much like a juvie, and the other two didn't go after it or anything, so I feel about 90% certain I saw three juvies. It was getting pretty dark, and had trouble seeing colors on that third falcon. Somewhere around 8:45 they started taking off. One girl landed on a louver ledge behind 333 and couldn't tell where the other one got to. Missed seeing Green take off, but saw him flying toward the Carson Building. It was too dark to tell where he went, and it was WAY past my curfew.

They will probably be quite active today with the lower temps & humidity.

I saw someone flying overhead and screaming their head off at 7:15 this morning as I stepped out of the 5th St garage.

Thanks for your report z28taxman! And welcome to the forum. About that third falcon last night. It was doing these big wing stretches and being in what I call the airplane mode. Unless Niecey is reverting back to her younger years, this was a juvie. Don't know that adults act like that.

Thanks for all the coverage and pictures and the report from yesterday too, Jane. I was in Philadelphia yesterday and had this overwhelming urge to get on a bus or train or something and head to Harrisburg. I would have done it too had I not had all the kids with me at the airport.

I think Green Boy is on the stick as of 2:58 this afternoon.

Crimes, there's a juvie at the end of the ledge, and Niecey is up there near the orange post with some BIG prey. Looks like a pigeon. Juvie is looking over its right wing with its beak open and is surely screaming. Juvie now has the food and Niecey is gone. REALLY missing the live cam.
