Bird Cams Around the World

Just tuned into the cam to find Lil Dad on the shield. First I've seen him on the cam in a while.

He really likes staying close to home doesn't he? Thanks for posting for dummies like me that don't know how! LOL!

Looks like Niecey behind the orange post toward the point. Looks like she has some food. Lil Dad is on the stick. There's definitely food, but can't tell if it's Niecey or a juvie. It is Niecey, still eating. Lil Dad is still on the stick.

Adults are gone. Juvie is on the ledge near the stick.

Now a big girl on the stick!

That's what I thought too, Nancy. Thanks for posting that picture. I cannot resist this lovely evening to make a spin downtown.

Jane you are so lucky! I wish I could take off right now and go see the falcons!!!

Back from downtown. Not a whole lot of action, and wish I could give a better report. Whichever of the girls was on the ledge was on the point when I got down there around 7:30, so I went into the 5th Street garage for a closer look, but no way could figure out which one she was. Then went over to the Chestnut Street garage roof. From there I could see Lil Dad on the cubbie above the nest ledge. Somewhere around 8:00, whichever girl had been on the ledge flew over to the U roof. She stayed there until Lil Dad took off toward 333, and of course she went after him. They both flew down 4th Street and disappeared from my view. Maybe around 8:15 or so a juvie came in from the direction of Aberdeen and landed on the U roof. I have no idea if this was the same one or not. It stayed there until 8:55 and took off over the roof of the U, and I did not see where it went. Never did see Niecey this time.

Having connection problems this morning, but it is now resolved. Niecey is in the scrape incubating the gravel at the moment. And will look forward to having your company tonight, Reenie.

I've checked in here a couple times today, each time to find Niecey in the scrape. Am assuming she's been in there all morning. Right now she's standing in there preening. It is big time humid here.

Am starting to wonder if there is something fouled up with the still views. That train with the two engines has been visible for a LONG time, and so has that while pickup truck. But maybe Amtrak is having some sort of problem.

I think that view of the point IS refreshing. There had been a bus there that's not there now. Will be heading downtown in about half an hour.

Back from downtown. When I got there I could see a falcon flying over to the steeple, and then saw three others flying around. Met Reenie and her hubby up on the garage roof, and was told that was Lil Dad that was going to the steeple and was chased off by one of the juvies. Green spent a good bit of time on the roof of the Carson Building and one of his sisters on the back part of 333. They did do some flying around after each other, but not a whole lot of action. They both eventually were on the U roof, but then were out of sight. Found Niecey sitting on the far back corner of 333 toward 3rd Street. Not sure of the time, but one of the juvies (I think) took off toward the Harrisburg Hospital, and did not see it return.

Maybe Reenie will shed some light on how many juvies we saw. And we saw something that we thought was a juvie sitting on a distant cell tower. Turned out to be two Crows!
