Meanwhile DT, Beauty is on the eggs and she was sleeping hard earlier. DC should be showing up for his mid afternoon shift in a bit. He was on earlier 10:27 until 1:55pm. He's been showing up around 3pm most days, but today, the shifts moved a bit.

4:06 - shift change. DC on.

After several minute standoff, Beauty is back on eggs at 6:11.

When hatch time comes, we will have to remember one of the eggs has a white spot. Don't want to confuse that with a pip.

We got some tired peregrines. I think DC would like the night shift

Quite the conversation to switch over. B jumped in the box and he wasn't moving. She moved back to the lip of the box and got right in front of him. Finally he got the idea that it was time to go.

10:42 Shift Change.

These 2 are so funny. DC arrived at corner deck, other side main cam and has been calling for a shift change for several minutes (5+). Beauty just continued to incubate, not responding. He finally made his way to the beam and jumped in the box to get Beauty to move. So funny. Neither want to get off the eggs.

If anything, they are dedicated to their eggs and their babies.

Great, strong pair which was needed here. I was sorry that Pigott disappeared but this gives DC a stronger presence DT.

10:47 - Stand off.

Beauty is back early from her break after only 45 minutes. She's on the beam in front of box. Looks like she had a good meal while off duty. When DC came in, he had feathers in his talons, so my guess is he prepped and cached a meal for her.

I think he isn't happy with the fact that he's not getting his normal 2-3 hours!

B has now jumped to front lip of box. DC has his back to her and there is lots of conversation going on. I really don't think he's going to move - nope.

Well, he finally moved and I do think Beauty may have stepped on his tail (2:20 mark in video) to get him up.

DC must be trying for the nightshift with the 8pm switch

No kidding. I just brought in the trash bin and saw Beauty was back. He only got like 9 minutes... Well, he was late, so maybe B just needed a potty break.

So funny.

I totally think he would stay on all night if he could.

I see a pip in an egg!!!

It's poop. That egg is going to fool us when it is close to hatch. They just started hard incubation on around 4/14, so we've got a good time to wait.

She is so big compared to him he really doesn't have much chance in a stand off, but he sure is cute
