There's thoughts that this might be Billie, Gleig and Diamante's offspring from CT in Buffalo. Hope that Joyce or one of the watchers can get an ID on these 2...maybe same pair that have been seen at KP?

Wow - On the Rfalconcam Facebook page, MAK has a video of her view from her balcony. It really is an amazing beautiful view.

Now we know why DC & Beauty were on guard to the north. You can totally see DT and the Frontier Communication Tower, etc...

I think they spent a lot of time with the kids at FCT last year and now with this new pair at ST/HE/KP area, I wonder if they will still use that spot this year.

Well, I know there are areas of country where pairs are within blocks from each other. If there's an ample food source and these 2 pair can work out territorial boundries, hopefully all will work out.

I don't believe it's UT-the ends of the tail and wings are much darker than any I've ever seen. This is probably the falcon seen on and off at Unitys' KP power plant this past winter.

I think Beauty was a little too slow getting up for DC's shift.

Just summarizing some tweets...

At 2:50pm today, Carol tweeted she had 3 falcons at ST. 2 were chasing 1. Juvie and Male returned.

At the same time DT, DC was on eggs, B was on break. At 3:16pm, B returned to eggs, DC out.

Have no idea if it was Beauty there checking things out, or if another falcon. Will have to wait and see what Carol reports later.

Wondered about that myself, after all the family hung out near the gorge last year quite a bit but I'm guessing things will be different this year - assuming it's part of the new pair's territory? or is it just adjacent?

When MAK posted the video of the sites from her balconies, You could completely see FCT where the kids hung out last year. I'm sure this year will be different now that there is a pair there. Maybe they will use the south more, especially if DC still patrols there.

I think that's why we saw all the mating by DC and B on top of the cams - displaying the NB and DT territory were taken. In the past 2 years I never saw them mating on the cam, so this year was a surprise to see it. In my mind, it all makes sense now.

Booo! I was wondering why she hadn't moved in so long :egg11:

I asked about the 'gorge' at Rfalcon and Kitty explained there are two gorges. The High Falls gorge is the one that our family frequents. So they should still be okay is what I'm thinking.

There is another gorge & falls closer to the lake. I'm not sure how close it is to Seneca Towers, but closer than the High Falls gorge.

Thank you!

I worried about this... the FCT especially since it was so visible from MAK's balcony. Really gives perspective on how far they can see. We can see pretty far if elevated. From what I understand, they see much better/farther. So, I didn't know what kind of issues this could lead to when kids start flying.

Shaky just posted:

I have verified that our equipment at the Times Square building is working properly. The problem lies with our Internet provider. I'm waiting to hear back.

Hope he hears back soon...missing the cams a lot! :egg15:

DC is on the eggs right now. Twice now, when he has rolled eggs, he has chupped to the eggs. At first, I thought maybe he saw Beauty, but he's just totally calm and she's not on cam. Not to say she isn't in the air and he's responding, but I think it's cute both talk to their eggs when they arrive.
