DC was chirping quite a bit and standing at front lip of box. He just took off. Eggs uncovered. Neither are at box.

Beauty is back. Arrived quietly on deck, then to box, on eggs. I know it's warm, so not too concerned about eggs, but more so that both were gone and DC's departure.

Quite a surprise that it's not Billy or one of ours. They'll probably notify the DEC tomorrow to get info on her. It also appears that the mating pair like it under a bridge that's close to Seneca Tower...have been seen by several watchers under and around it.

I was looking at the banding report from last year. "AR" was used in Harrisburg, PA. Wonder if she's from someplace in PA. Of course, I'm assuming that the bottom part of band lettering is significant to one state/region.

Wonder if anyone has a relationship with Kate St John, if they could check with her on the PA nests she follows.

ya know, I wish band #'s made more sense..(maybe they do to the banders). It seems more logical to assign specific letters to specific states...like New York gets the Z's and any combination of Z's..ie Z, ZA, ZZ...doesn't matter as long as Z is first....that way if you saw a band, you would immediately know what state it was from.
