I LOVE WATCHING LIL DAD DEPART. WHEN HE'S ON THE LEDGE, HE JUST JUMPS, IT'S ACTUALLY KINDA COMICAL TO WATCH IT.

NIECEY DONE WITH HER NAP, BUT THEN LIL DAD GOES TO FLY IN AND SHE RUNS IN THE SCRAPE. LOOK REAL CLOSE AT THE 3RD PIC, LIL DAD FLYING IN TO LAND ON SHIELD. BUT I NEVER SAW HIM IN THE SCRAPE AND HE WAS GONE! NOW NIECEY IS GONE TOO.

Lil Dad is on the point and Niecey is on the stick as of 7:10 this evening. :-)

And Niecey left around 7:15. Lil Dad stayed on the point until around 7:40. It was pretty dark by then.

That is a great pose you captured, ljames. It looks like our rain is about over and the sun might actually make an appearance after a while. It's only about 60 degrees here today.

Lil Dad has been sitting on the stick for a while. Sun has come out and it is beautiful outside.

Am seeing Niecey up on the shield busy preening right now. Going to head downtown shortly for a long overdue falcon fix.

Spent about 45 minutes downtown late this afternoon. Found Lil Dad on the cubbie above the nest ledge, and Niecey was on the shield. Both were busy preening and basically just sitting there. Spent most of the time on the Chestnut Street garage roof. Was about ready to leave, when Niecey went into the scrape. She stayed in there a while, came out to the ledge near the stick, and then sat on the stick for a bit. She took off and made a half-hearted swipe at a Turkey Vulture that was soaring around over the train station. Missed seeing Lil Dad leave, as I was looking at a complete set of Pigeon wings that were lying on the sidewalk behind the bus shelter on Market Street. Lil Dad showed up again on the point, and was there when I left around 5:45.
