I have seen Red Girl all ruffled up a couple times, but mostly her "cucumber" look. Right now it looks like she's looking for Trinity to come in for a while.

Is that an eggshell beside her or is she not covering most of one egg? Bet its an eggshell! :clap:

Of course, I guess this could be Trinity too.

The red I see at the edge of the falcon's right wing is an artifact of the lens, more obvious in some light conditions than others.

I think I mistakenly posted on here quite a while ago that an egg wasn't covered. I see that reddish spot right now. Red Girl is sitting there as calm as could be at the moment.

No visible sign of a hatch, but Red Girl and Trinity sure are restless. I bet they're hearing the yet-to-be-hatched chicks peeping inside their shells, and I think we'll see the first hatch later today.

I agree with you Ethel. She looks very nervous. Not a good word, but with a lot of little moves. Thanks for capturing that great picture today. It must be close!!

Looks like Trinity there now. Cool, calm, and collected. And now he's moving around, now settled. Geeze!

Red Girl is acting REALLY antsy right now. Fluffed up and everything. And by the time I entered this, she settled back down.

Not sure why, but Red Girl just left the nest box, unless that wasn't her. Am seeing all six eggs. Oops, she's back. Half thinking that's Trinity there now. Am gonna have to soon give up!And my final edit. That WAS Trinity. He actually came and went twice since I started that post. But Red Girl is DEFINITELY there now.

Yes, I've been watching since 6:00 this morning. After all the restless motions of RG and Trinity yesterday, I was pretty sure there would be a chick this morning.
