Back safe and sound! Hopefully the DNR guys are too (hee hee). It looks like 2 of the chicks huddled behind the 3rd chick, who spent much of its time scolding the DNR guys... Thanks for the video, SGB!! Now mom's back, and babies are piling in the corner...

Great video. Banding was a great event. Matrix, Ray and I are still downtown looking at photos. Editing will take a bit as the combined total is approximately 7,000 this one was taken from the kitchen window as the chicks were being taken from the nest. Mystic was a fierce defender and nicked Laurie the DOW officer.

Bev, Mo was indeed doing the circle dance while Mystic went at it full force. She actually went into the box after DOW officer Laurie. We did see him later engaging two Red Tails. He was a successful defender. These are some from inside the Canton Club.

I am going thru the outside pics of when they came out to get the chicks and Mystic's attacks... I am soo glad TSusan got to see that live on cam.... I have never seen her like this... Can't wait to post pics later...

Thanks Matrix. I did double check the band number. Everyone felt that was correct but it was noisy. It's subject to change.
