I wonder if Beauty is pulling an O'Connor. She had been sitting quietly on side beam. She starts chupping and quickly gets in the box. Was looking out, and up, but I guess it was nothing, or DC just kept going. She then went back to the beam in front of box.

Sorry. It's a joke. We were watching and waiting for O'Connor (Jack's mate - Etobicoke) to lay her eggs. It seemed every time Jack flew into town, O'Connor would quickly get in the box and stand in laying position. As soon as he was clear of the area, she would perch back up on the side of the box. Hence, an O'Connor.

Thanks. Poor B...I feel bad for her and DC. Don't know what's going on but seems like something should have happened by now with the way she looks and acts but I think she's done this in past years. Seems like she's always the last to lay an egg! :imbored:

Honestly, I thought she was going to lay last week. It seems once they start regularly bonding, prey deliveries are made and mating is observed, she's pretty quick. Something slowed them down. She's staying at NB today, so that's a good sign. Felt really bad for her last night as the rain and wind really seemed to scare her when DC tucked her around 7:40
