Bird Cams Around the World

Congrats to our non smokers!
I am just going to stick my head in the sand and hope we have Lil Dad and Niecey there until we know otherwise...I hope the camera can shed some light on the subject at some point soon.

Sure would like to come down there for a look, but never know when to be there. On the noon news today there was another extended live picture from the camera on top of 333. Right before the news broke for a commercial, some large bird flew across the field of view, and then the commercial came on.

Neat Jane, the way you watch the news report to get info on the Falcon's.!! LOL! I too am hoping you saw one pass by. Reenie, I am hoping NB isn't there!

Freezing rain here in Wilmington today!

Somebody's been moving the camera around,, but so far not pointed at the ledge.

Well, maybe the cam is getting fixed. That's a shot of the Mulberry Street Bridge on the picture you posted, ljames.

Wow! Was surprised to see that on the cam. They must be working on them now. Can see the top portion of the roof of the Train Station. Nice shots of the surrounding area.

I'm getting the impression that the two cameras at the end of the ledge are working, as there are two slightly different views of the Mulberry Street Bridge. And one of the orange post. I guess we need to all be patient. Hope to get downtown at some point over the weekend. Tomorrow sounds VERY wet, though.

It is so foggy and raining very hard here in Wilmington.

VERY, LOVELY VIEWS OF HARRISBURG. I AM ENJOYING THIS OPPORTUNITY TO SEE IT. AND TO THE FALCONS: THINK PHOTOBOMB!

Spent about an hour downtown this morning, and this time I did NOT come up empty. I could see a falcon on top of the Carson Building while crossing the State Street Bridge. Had trouble finding a parking place, but finally got one on 4th Street. The falcon I had seen from the bridge was still there, and there was one on the stick, too. Got lucky to be able to get into the 5th Street Garage to be able to get closer. Had to wade through a small pile of snow up there to be able to see the stick. The stick falcon was facing me, and I tried SO hard to see bands, but the feathers were fluffed up all around the feet. Positive it was a male on the stick and Niecey above me on the corner of the building above the glass cubbie. Stayed up there until I was getting numb, and went over to the Amtrak Station to thaw. When I came out of the station, the stick falcon had moved out to the edge of the ledge. Then flew to the balcony railing, and I'm not sure where all. If it wasn't Lil Dad, it certainly looked like him with a real white bib and deep yellow cere. Niecey was on the ledge a couple times, on the stick, and back on the corner of the building above the cubbie. The two of them were enjoying each other as I was enjoying them. Somewhere around 11:30 they both took off in the general direction of the Capitol so I left. Would have loved to have been able to have a look at that male from inside while he was on the balcony railing. Am 99% sure the female was Niecey.

Fabulous report Jane. You saw a lot ! I'm going to be trusting that the male was Lil Dad. You certainly must have been cold, staying there that long. Thanks so much for your continued efforts.

STILLS ARE WORKING AGAIN! WHOO HOO!!

THAT WING ON THE POINT LOOKS PRETTY FRESH, BUT THE OTHER ONE WAS DOWN BELOW BEFORE 6AM THIS MORNING, SO IT MUST BE FROM YESTERDAY.

Yippee! The stills are back. That wing was on the sidewalk on Aberdeen yesterday.

Woo hoo! So exciting to see the stills working again! I'll be glad when we an confirm the whereabouts of the ledge's occupants.
